Super Bowl Party Recipe!

The Super Bowl. It is one of the few nights of the year when people might actually take a break from the casinos and whatnot to enjoy in the culmination of the NFL season. Therefore, in order to help you have a successful Super Bowl experience, we wanted to provide you with one of our favorite recipes that you can prepare for your guests, or that you can take to the party you have been invited to. Don’t worry, we still have these playing cards available for you in case you wanted to play a few hands between quarters.

Barbeque Chicken Bites

Shopping List:

-        1 ½ pounds of boneless & skinless chicken breasts that have been cut into 40 1′ cubes.

-        ½ cup all-purpose flour.

-        ¼ cup vegetable oil

-        1 Tablespoon cayenne

-        1 Tablespoon sugar

-        ½ Teaspoon white vinegar

-        4 Tablespoons unsalted butter

-        ½ cup of your favorite barbeque sauce

-        2 Teaspoons Salt

-        1 Teaspoon Pepper

Steps:

  1. Combine BBQ sauce, sugar, vinegar, and butter into a skillet over medium-low heat and stir until the butter has completely melted. Then remove from heat.
  2. Combine cayenne, pepper, flour, and salt in a large plastic back. Put in half of the chicken cubes and toss until the chicken is well coat.
  3. Warm half of the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Place the chicken that has been coated into the skillet and cook for about six minutes, turning all sides until crispy and that there is no pink in the center of the meat.
  4. Wipe out skillet and repeat for the remaining chicken. When complete, put all chicken cubes into a large bowl.
  5. Rewarm the BBQ sauce mixture in the pan.
  6. Pour the BBQ sauce over the chicken in the bowl and shake until well-coated.
  7. Serve the chicken with your favorite dip, or with celery as an option.
